As part of PLATFORMS: Ten years of Chances Dances, [Open House] is hosting a month-long installation that deals with themes of domesticity, private persona, and imagined identities that simultaneously exist in the freedom and confinement of personal space. Presenting different modes of expressions that collectively reveal nuances of intimacy and self-reliance, the artists included explore the politics and relational qualities of the queer life-space. Here the home is activated by the ways in which we nurture and express ourselves; it becomes a safe environment, a place of true resistance and revelation.
